The Godin family has been part of the furniture retail industry for more than five decades. It all began in the early 1970s, when Mrs. Edwina Godin opened La Maison du Luminaire, a small lighting shop in Bathurst. With vision and determination, she expanded into furniture, laying the foundation for what would become one of Northern New Brunswick’s most trusted names in home furnishings.
In 2011, her sons, Michel and Paul Godin, entered into a strategic partnership with Leon’s, one of Canada’s largest and most recognized furniture retailers. This collaboration marked a new chapter in the family business — blending local care with national strength.
Today, Leon’s Outlet Bathurst offers over 50,000 sq. ft. of showroom space and 100,000 sq. ft. of warehouse facilities, giving customers unmatched access to a wide selection of quality products at great prices.
